How to Size Your Nails for Press-On Nails (Siren Polish LLC)

Siren Polish press-on nails are offered in preset sizes listed in millimeters (mm).
Measuring your natural nails correctly will help you choose the size that fits best for comfort, durability, and a seamless look.

Please note: Siren Polish does not offer sizing kits. All sizing is based on millimeter measurements provided on each product page.

What You’ll Need

• A soft measuring tape (recommended)
  or
• Clear tape + a ruler with millimeter (mm) markings
• A pen or notes app
• Clean, bare natural nails

Step 1: Measure the Width of Each Nail

1. Place your hand flat on a table.
2. Measure the widest part of your natural nail from sidewall to sidewall.
3. Record the measurement in millimeters (mm).
4. Repeat for all 10 nails.

Measure straight across the nail, not along the curve.

Step 2: Tape Method (If You Don’t Have a Measuring Tape)

1. Place a small piece of clear tape across the widest part of your nail.
2. Mark where each side of your nail ends.
3. Remove the tape and place it on a ruler.
4. Measure the distance between the marks in millimeters (mm).
5. Write down the size for each finger.

This method is very accurate and beginner-friendly.

Step 3: Compare Your Measurements to Siren Polish Size Sets

Choose the preset size that most closely matches your nail measurements.

Important Sizing Tips

• If you are between sizes, choose the larger size
• Press-on nails can be gently filed smaller for a better fit
• Thumbs are often different sizes — always measure both
• Measure on bare nails (no polish, gel, or acrylic)
• Cold hands can slightly shrink nail width, so measure at room temperature

Between Two Sizes?

If your measurements fall between two size sets, we recommend selecting the larger size for a more comfortable fit. Minor side filing can help customize the shape to your nail bed.
